RepPoc V2.1 (shareware) RepPoc is a report writing and mail merging program for PSION S3 and S3a. It allows you to view DATA files using complex and field related search criteria, to sort the search result, to use the dial function, and to print out the records using predefined forms (WORD documents). It can generate standard forms, but you are also able to customize forms using the WORD processor. RepPoc comes with default forms for labels, letters and envelopes. Predefined text functions can be used, to extract the last or given name out of a name field, or the country name out of a phone number field. You may even write your own OPL text functions. There is a mark function that allows you to browse through the search result and mark only the records that you want to print. All settings like search criteria, sort criteria, DATA file name, form name, and output file name are stored in report files, so you don't have to type them again, if you want to use the same report again. Menu Functions -------------- Open Report, New Report, Create form (list, label, letter, WinWordList, Report) Find, Find next, Find previous (all with complex search criteria: AND, OR, NOT, field names, line numbers, text functions) About, Preferences, Sort (2 fields, ascending/descending), Mark, Exit. RepPoc is the perfect tool for people with hundreds of addresses in their DATA files. Installation: ------------- RepPoc comes with an installation utility which lets you select options and automates the installation process. Commercial version: ----------------------------------- We offer commercial versions for both S3 and S3a. Registered shareware users can upgrade by paying the price difference. The commercial version allows to generate and update spreadsheets from datafiles. Registration: ------------- Registered users receive a printed manual, a registration ID, notice of future upgrades and the right to use these upgrades for free. New function in version 2.0 --------------------------- - New TextStyle TR for trailer paragraphs. Trailer paragraphs are printed only once at the end of a list. - Some text functions (like date::) can be used not only in Body text but also in header paragraphs (HA,HL) and trailer paragraphs (TR). - New numeric functions: pos:: current position in list (no argument) sum:: sum of the numeric value of that and the above fields. max:: maximum of the numeric value of that and the above fields. min:: minimum of the numeric value of that and the above fields. mean:: mean of the numeric value of that and the above fields. All these functions can be used in both body and trailer. 0 is assumed for nonnumeric fields. - New form type: PSION-C creates now optionally a form of type "report". This form is similar to a list, but fields are separated by TABS instead of commata, and a trailer is generated with sum:: functions below each column. - The name functions in RPFUNC have now a logic for titles: given:: and intial:: remove now titles like Prof and Dr from the first name - A new name function title:: returns any title strings, like "Prof.Dr." in a name. If no title is found it return "Mrs./Mr.". If the name string was empty it returns "Madam/Sir" - New menu function PSION-E and PSION-D to edit or delete a form sheet. - Commercial version: Creation of PSION-S3/S3a spreadsheet files from DATA files, and updating of spreadsheet files with DATA contents. - ZOOM function (S3a only).
